Theme factory
Styles slides, documents, reports, HTML landing pages and other artifacts with one of 10 preset color and font themes, or a new theme generated on request.
What Theme factory does
Theme factory gives an agent a fixed set of design themes to apply to something already made, such as a slide deck, a document or an HTML page. The process has four steps. The agent displays theme-showcase.pdf, a PDF preview of all ten themes, without changing it. It then asks which theme the user wants and waits for an explicit choice. After that, it reads the chosen theme's file from themes/ and applies those colors and fonts across the whole artifact, keeping contrast and readability in check.
Each theme file lists a small palette with hex codes plus a heading and body font pairing. Ocean Depths, for example, combines deep navy #1a2332, teal, seafoam and cream with DejaVu Sans Bold for headings and DejaVu Sans for body text. The other nine are Sunset Boulevard, Forest Canopy, Modern Minimalist, Golden Hour, Arctic Frost, Desert Rose, Tech Innovation, Botanical Garden and Midnight Galaxy.
When no preset suits the work, the agent builds a custom theme from the user's description and names it after the look it describes. It shows that theme for review and applies it only once approved. The result is the user's own artifact, restyled. The folder ships no code.
Install
/plugin install example-skills@anthropic-agent-skillsRead the security check below before you run it. The repository's own instructions win if they differ.
Security check
What the skill's files do, from reading them. A flag that nobody has checked yet says "Not checked", never "No".
- Runs scripts
- No
- Uses the network
- No
- Installs hooks
- No
- Asks for secrets
- No
The scan found no scripts, hook definitions, network calls or secret variables. The folder holds SKILL.md, a licence, ten Markdown theme files and one PDF preview. Nothing in it runs on its own; the agent changes only the artifact it is restyling, using tools it already has. Before installing, skim the theme files and open the PDF yourself, and keep a copy of any deck or document before the agent restyles it.
Scan details: No scripts, hook definitions, network calls or secret variables were found in the skill folder. Checked at commit 8a1541c4a3ff.
Use cases
- Restyle a finished slide deck with one consistent palette and font pairing.
- Let someone pick a look from a PDF preview of ten themes.
- Apply matching colors and fonts to a report, document or HTML landing page.
- Generate a custom theme from a short description when no preset fits.
Limitations
- It restyles existing artifacts; building the slides or pages themselves is outside its scope.
- There is no code: the agent applies colors and fonts with the tools it already has.
- Fonts named in the theme files, such as DejaVu Sans, are not included in the folder.
- Its application steps are written around slide decks and their slides.
