Agent skills

Reusable SKILL.md instructions for Claude Code and other coding agents, each checked file by file for what it runs and what it needs.

Agent skills are folders of instructions, usually a SKILL.md file with optional scripts, that teach a coding agent such as Claude Code how to do a specific task. To start with agent skills, read the guide on how to write a SKILL.md for Claude Code, then install one listed skill that matches work you already do.

Each skill page names the repository it comes from and the agents it supports, such as Claude Code, Claude.ai or Cursor. The cards also show whether a skill runs scripts, needs network access, installs hooks or asks for secrets, so check those labels before you install anything. Many listed skills come from Anthropic's anthropics/skills repository and cover documents, spreadsheets, slides, PDFs, frontend design and MCP server building.

The open-source projects under this topic are larger packs and plugins, such as collections of engineering workflows and rule sets that change how an agent writes code. Compare their license, stars and momentum on each card. The topic also lists qarunbook, a test runbook tool, and a talk on why browser agents fail in production.
