Python cheat sheets
A Python reference covering syntax, concurrency, networking, databases, ML/LLM work and HPC, for Python questions, interview prep, debugging and development.
What Python cheat sheets does
The py skill sends an agent to pythonsheets.com, the cheat sheet site linked from the pysheeet README, whenever a user asks a Python question or wants a script written. Its SKILL.md sets out four steps. First the agent looks up the topic in references/structure.md, a map from subjects such as threading, asyncio, SQLAlchemy, Slurm or the walrus operator to specific pythonsheets.com pages. It then fetches those pages with WebFetch, and the instructions say to always fetch rather than answer from memory. With the examples in hand, it writes the code or explains the answer. Last, it applies references/guidelines.md, a set of code quality rules on concurrency choices, context managers, type hints, profiling and security habits such as parameterized SQL queries and the secrets module.
The stated principle is functionality first, cleanliness second. Coverage runs from core syntax and data structures through networking, databases, cryptography and C/C++ extensions with pybind11 and Cython, up to PyTorch, Megatron and LLM serving. An interview section groups common questions by topic, for example the GIL, asyncio, decorators and MRO.
The result is Python code or an explanation grounded in pages fetched from pythonsheets.com. The folder holds three Markdown files and no scripts.
Install
claude plugin marketplace add crazyguitar/pysheeet && claude plugin install pysheeet@pysheeetRead the security check below before you run it. The repository's own instructions win if they differ.
Security check
What the skill's files do, from reading them. A flag that nobody has checked yet says "Not checked", never "No".
- Runs scripts
- No
- Uses the network
- Yes
- Installs hooks
- No
- Asks for secrets
- No
The scan found no scripts, no hooks and no secret variables in this skill. It does need network access: SKILL.md tells the agent to always fetch pages from pythonsheets.com with WebFetch before writing code or answering. The three files are Markdown only (SKILL.md, references/structure.md and references/guidelines.md). Before installing, read references/structure.md to see the full list of URLs the agent will request, and review generated code before running it, because it is adapted from fetched web content.
Scan details: SKILL.md instructions include web requests or URLs to fetch. Checked at commit d85c86ae8a77.
Use cases
- Answering Python questions with examples fetched from pythonsheets.com
- Writing Python scripts such as socket servers or asyncio code
- Reviewing interview topics like the GIL, MRO and decorators
- Looking up Megatron, Slurm or LLM serving patterns
Limitations
- Needs network access, since each answer starts by fetching pythonsheets.com pages
- Expects the agent to have a WebFetch tool
- Topic coverage follows the URL map in references/structure.md
- Ships no scripts or code of its own, only Markdown instructions
