What it does
UI UX Pro Max is an agent skill that hands coding assistants a searchable library of design guidance, so a request such as a landing page for a spa comes back with a matching style, color palette, font pairing and page structure. It installs into Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Gemini CLI, Kiro and about a dozen more assistants, through the Claude Code plugin marketplace or the uipro command from the ui-ux-pro-max-cli npm package.
Under the hood it is a set of CSV datasets and a Python search script that ranks entries with BM25. The README counts 79 searchable UI styles (50 active), 192 palettes tied to 192 product types, 74 font pairings, 25 chart types, 119 UX guidelines and advice for 22 stacks, from React and Next.js to SwiftUI, Flutter and WPF. Version 2.0 added a design system generator that merges those searches into one recommendation, with anti-patterns to avoid and a pre-delivery checklist covering contrast, focus states and reduced motion. You can save the result as a master file with per-page overrides that the agent reads in later sessions.
In most supported assistants the skill switches on by itself for UI requests. Kiro, Copilot, Roo Code and KiloCode use the /ui-ux-pro-max slash command instead. A paid premium edition with brand and asset features is sold separately on uupm.cc.
Why it matters
A coding agent asked for an interface has to make design choices on the spot. This skill gives it concrete reference data matched to the product type, plus a checklist to test the result against before handing it over. The search runs locally on the Python standard library, and the README says the scripts install nothing and make no network calls.
Main features
- 79 searchable UI styles, 50 of them in normal recommendations
- 192 color palettes aligned with 192 product types
- 74 font pairings with Google Fonts imports
- Design system generator with anti-patterns and a pre-delivery checklist
- Guidance for 22 stacks, including React, SwiftUI, Flutter and WPF
- Saved design systems: one MASTER.md plus per-page override files
- uipro CLI installs for 20 named assistants plus a universal skills folder
Who it's for
- Developers who use Claude Code, Cursor or a similar assistant to build landing pages, dashboards or app screens
- Solo builders without a designer who want style, color and type choices matched to their kind of product
- Teams that want design decisions stored in files the agent rereads across sessions
Strengths
- Search runs locally on the Python standard library with no network calls, per the README
- Covers mobile and desktop stacks as well as web frameworks
- One CLI installs the skill for many different assistants, globally or per project
- MIT licensed
Limitations
- Brand identity, logo, banner, slide and image-asset features belong to a separate paid premium version
- Older uipro-cli npm releases are stale; the README says to use ui-ux-pro-max-cli
- Needs Python 3 on the machine, and the skill tells agents to ask the user instead of installing it
- Trae needs SOLO mode, and some assistants require the slash command instead of auto-activation
Getting started
Install the CLI globally from npm, then run its uipro init command inside your project with the name of your assistant. Claude Code users can add the skill from the plugin marketplace instead.
npm install -g ui-ux-pro-max-cli
Requirements: Python 3.x for the search script (standard library only), Node.js with npm for the uipro CLI, and a supported AI coding assistant.
Always follow the official instructions in the README on GitHub. This overview is our summary, not a copy.
