Communicate
AI support agent for website chat that answers from your help content with citations, runs approved tasks and hands off to people.
What Communicate does
Communicate is an AI customer support agent for websites. You give it help center articles, guides, files and past support replies, and it answers questions in a chat widget, citing the article each answer came from. When it finds no confident answer, or a question needs judgment, it passes the conversation to a teammate in the same thread so the customer does not start over.
You choose which tasks it may run. The site's examples are checking an order, updating a delivery address and issuing a refund, with refunds held until a teammate approves; anything not switched on stays with your team. You can set the agent's name, voice and instructions and match the widget to your product. Analytics rank the most common questions and show which ones still lack a reliable source.
The security page says answers are generated by gpt-4o-mini through OpenRouter. Developers get a REST API, a CLI published on npm and an MCP server that can list agents and send grounded support chat turns.
Billing runs on credits. After confirming an email address you can test an agent in a sandbox with 100 free evaluation credits, and going live means choosing a paid plan. The company, TinyCheque, Inc., says the product suits teams that answer repeat questions and already keep reliable answers in writing, and that requests which always need human judgment should stay with people.
- Answering repeat customer questions in website chat from existing help articles
- Letting an agent check orders or update addresses while refunds wait for approval
- Handing hard or sensitive chats to a teammate with the full thread
- Finding which customer questions have no good help article yet
Who should use it
- Support teams that already keep written answers in a help center or past replies
- Agencies running separate support agents for several clients
Who should look elsewhere
- Organizations that need SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001 or SSO
- Teams whose requests each need individual human judgment
Strengths
- Answers cite the help article they came from
- Tasks are off unless you turn them on, and refunds can require approval
- The security page states plainly which certifications and features it lacks
- REST API, CLI and MCP server for developers
Limitations
- No ongoing free plan; the free sandbox credits are for evaluation
- Paid plans renew automatically after a 3-day trial, and the company offers no voluntary or partial refunds
- No SOC 2, HIPAA or ISO 27001 certification, no SSO and a single deployment region
- Website chat is the only customer channel the site describes
Privacy notes
Inference runs on gpt-4o-mini through OpenRouter, and Communicate says it does not train shared or third-party models on customer data or end-user conversations. Stored data is encrypted at rest, infrastructure is in the United States, and customer data is deleted within 30 days of account termination apart from legally required records.
