Agent Activity
Mac app that shows what AI coding agents do in Xcode: live sessions, build timelines, errors and test results in one window.
What Agent Activity does
Agent Activity is a macOS app from LeMax, LLC for watching AI coding agents work in Xcode. Its product page calls it mission control for Xcode agents: one window shows live agent sessions, a timeline of builds, and test results.
The screenshots and the Mac App Store listing show a timeline that follows an iteration from a failed build through fixes to a passing one. Compiler errors and warnings are parsed and grouped by file with their source lines. The app can display simulator and SwiftUI preview screenshots next to the UI hierarchy the agent captured, and a permissions sheet lists which agents Xcode trusts and which folders they may reach. A menu bar panel counts builds, working agents and agents waiting on you.
The App Store listing names Claude Code (run from the terminal or started by Xcode), Codex, Antigravity and Xcode's own chat as supported agents. The app needs macOS 26 or later on an Apple silicon Mac.
There is no account and no server of its own. The vendor says transcripts, build logs, project names and paths stay on your Mac. On first launch the app asks whether to send usage events and crash reports, and both can be switched off. It suits iOS and macOS developers who let agents build and test in Xcode and want a readable record of what each session did.
- Following an agent's build, error and fix cycle in Xcode as a timeline
- Seeing compiler errors and warnings grouped by file with source lines
- Checking what the agent saw on the simulator, including the captured UI tree
- Reviewing which agents Xcode trusts and which folders they can access
Who should use it
- iOS and macOS developers who run Claude Code, Codex or other agents inside Xcode
- Developers who want a local record of agent sessions without an account
Who should look elsewhere
- Developers who do not use Xcode
- Intel Macs or Macs on macOS versions before 26
Strengths
- Runs locally with no account and no server of its own
- Brings agent sessions, builds and test results into one window
- One-time $9.99 price on the Mac App Store, with no subscription mentioned
Limitations
- Requires macOS 26 or later and an Apple silicon Mac
- Only covers agent work in Xcode
- Documentation is limited to the product page, App Store listing and privacy policy
- If enabled, usage events go to Google Analytics and crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics
Privacy notes
The vendor says no transcript, message, build-log content, project name or project path leaves the Mac. Optional usage events go to Google Analytics and optional crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics, and the app downloads a public AI model pricing list from LiteLLM on GitHub each day.
