Offrun
A macOS workspace for running and reviewing multiple coding agents side by side.
What Offrun does
Offrun is a macOS app for managing coding agents from one workspace. It runs Claude Code, Codex, AGY and Grok Build through their local CLIs using the accounts already signed in on the Mac. Each agent works in its own Git worktree, which keeps concurrent tasks in separate folders.
A second agent can review an uncommitted diff and return findings inside the chat. Offrun also keeps project conventions, plans and recorded dead ends as files in the project folder. When one account reaches its usage limit, a conversation can move to another configured login or agent. The app can monitor agents running elsewhere on the Mac and notify the user when one finishes or needs input.
Offrun includes previews for changed files, diffs, Markdown, tables, images, PDFs and web pages. Its dictation system runs speech transcription on the Mac. The vendor says voice recordings are not stored or uploaded. Prompts and code sent to coding agents go directly to the selected provider under the user's own account.
It suits developers who use several coding agents and want concurrent tasks, agent-to-agent review and one place to watch their work. It requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 Sonoma or later and at least one supported agent CLI.
- Run multiple coding agents against the same repository in separate Git worktrees.
- Have one coding agent review another agent's uncommitted changes.
- Monitor coding agents and see when they finish or need input.
- Keep project conventions, plans and recorded dead ends in files shared with agents.
- Move a conversation to another configured account or agent after a usage limit is reached.
Who should use it
- Developers who regularly use more than one supported coding agent.
- Mac users who want concurrent agent work and peer review in one workspace.
Who should look elsewhere
- Windows or Linux users.
- Intel Mac users.
- People without a supported coding-agent CLI.
Strengths
- Each agent gets a separate Git worktree for concurrent repository work.
- Peer review runs through another configured agent account before changes are merged.
- Project memory is stored as editable files inside the project folder.
- The vendor lists unlimited agents, projects, connected coding-agent accounts and agent reviews at $0.
Limitations
- Requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
- Requires at least one coding-agent CLI that the user already has.
- Pi and OpenCode are listed as coming soon rather than currently supported.
- Coding-agent provider subscriptions and their own usage limits remain separate from Offrun.
Privacy notes
The vendor says speech recognition runs on the Mac and voice recordings are not written to disk or transmitted. Content submitted to an AI agent is sent to the chosen provider, while Offrun collects limited account, usage, analytics and reliability data described in its privacy policy.
